What is casting?
It is a method of producing goods and semi-products at the result of filling the “mould cavity” by benefiting from the taking shape capabilities of liquid metals which are acquired from ore by various techniques and solidification.
Our foundry which has an annual capacity of 200 tons gets growing day by day and increases its capacity. In our company, products from 5 grams to 250 kilos can be easily casted. As a casting method, there can be casted in sand mould or permanent mould toward quantity, strength, microstructure, surface characteristics and customers’ demands.
It is acquired from our 300 kilos natural gas operated oven by performing temperature controls of liquid metal which are saved into our quality system by taking chemical analysis. Also 100 kilos electrical arc furnace which is under construction will be activated as soon as possible.The molding process is performed by 2 semi automatic molding machines, 2 permanent mould machines and traditional methods. Also Foseco branded revolving degassing device, sand sieving machine and liquid metal alloying elements are used for improving the quality of casting.
